How it works
Scan the QR, pour your heart in, choose how it reaches them. From then on only they can open it.
For the sender
Scan the QR code
Use your phone camera on the QR code on the product or its packaging.
Enter the card code
Scratch the card in the box and enter its code — the gift is yours to write. Keep the card: you’ll use it to edit later too.
Write your letter
Write a message, record your voice and choose photos. Your draft saves automatically.
See it the way they will
Before sending, open the letter once exactly as they’ll see it.
Choose the code that opens it
A word only you two know, a birthday, or a number we make — then tell them yourself.
For the recipient
Scan the QR code
Scan the QR engraved on the gift with the phone camera — an envelope is waiting.
Open it with the code
Enter the code the sender gave you and the letter opens.
The code, every time
The letter asks for the code each time it’s opened — so a cup on a desk or a shared family phone stays private.
Why a code?
The QR is on a cup you use every day, so anyone could scan it. So the letter opens only with the code the sender chose.
- Tell them in person, or write it on the card in the box
- An open letter locks itself again after a few idle minutes
- You can check on your page whether it has been opened
If they forget the code, the sender can always look it up on their page.
Only the information we need
No accounts and no recipient contact details. If the sender wants a notice, we take their number only to text them once when the letter is opened, and store it encrypted.
